Show Notes

Corey Costanzo is the Co-Owner of Asheville’s Still Point Wellness Spa, a licensed addiction counselor, trauma specialist, licensed massage therapist, master didgeridoo player, colleague, and good friend.

In this episode, Corey and I have a conversation about how trauma effects relationships. Living through traumatic events may result in expectations of danger, betrayal, or potential harm within new or old relationships. People who experience trauma may become anxious or frightened in relation to others, experience them as having power or control, or easily feel abandoned or rejected. Still others may become overprotective or dependent. Though it’s challenging, you can heal the trauma and change the effect it has upon your life and relationships.

We are not made the same, and we all heal in our own way, our own time “
